Mountaineer
I created this image to show what I like to do, and what I believe in. In one layer of this, there are little white flowers spread across the whole picture. I took this photo when my family and I were hiking in Canada. I love to spend time with my family, especially in beautiful sceneries. My second layer is overlooking the valley in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Skiing is something I love to do and I'm hoping I will never stop doing it. My third layer is a photo I took of Gun Lake. The lake is a big part of my life, and I would be incomplete without it. These are just a few images overlapping me that mean a lot. If I could, I would put all the things I love into this picture.
Cloud Eye
My double exposure photograph is a combined photo of a selfie and landscape photo. I took the selfie in an non-distracting background so that the landscape photo would really pop. The landscape photo was taken when I was boating as the sun was going down with my friends and family. I love to look at it because it was taken near the beginning of this school year and reminds me so much of the summer. You can see the wake of the boat in the picture. I wanted to put some of the color and clouds of the sunset overlapping my face to create a relaxed effect. The water almost looks like a road taking you back to the shore.
My selfie and double exposure images have similarities and differences. In my four layer selfie, I forgot to brush away some of the background in the images, so it doesn't look as clean as the double exposure. In my four layer selfie, my hair is a little messy so the selfie didn't turn out as well. But, in the double exposure photo, I fixed that problem with a headband. The two photos are similar because they both contain landscapes of things I love, such as the lake and the mountains. I'm also doing a similar pose in each selfie. All in all, I think the double exposure image has a more clean and calm mood to it, but he multi layer selfie is busy and you can't really tell what some of the images are.
